Eine 18-jährige Autofahrerin parkte ihren Mercedes am Dienstagmittag auf dem Edeka-Parkplatz in der Marbacher Straße. Als sie nach getätigtem Einkauf zu ihrem Fahrzeug zurückkam, bemerkte sie, dass es im Fahrzeuginneren qualmte. Die hinzugerufene Feuerwehr löschte den Pkw, konnte aber nicht mehr verhindern, dass an diesem Totalschaden in Höhe von etwa 3500 Euro entstand. Nach derzeitigem Kenntnisstand ist von einem technischen Defekt als Brandursache auszugehen.
